Writer, Director, Cinematographer

Actor & Director Ethan Paisley is exhilirated to be watching his latest project, The Art of Escape, be brought to life by an incredibly talented cast and crew of friends and fellow actors as well as filmmakers. Acting since age 6, Paisley has participated in over 20 professional theater productions and 7, independent films. Aside from an acting career, Ethan Paisley has succeeded in running a popular YouTube comedy series that dragged in over 2,250 subscribers and 400,000 video views. Though experienced as an entertainer in front of the camera and on the stage, Paisley has found a similar passion behind the scenes as a writer and director, having worked on 8 film productions which most recently include Broken Together and Saladcide 1: Green With Envy. Paisley hopes The Art of Escape can really help showcase his talent behind the camera, as it is the most professional endeavor he has taken into his filmmaking career so far. 

Production Designer, Editor

A third generation filmmaker in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mitchell Tanaka is currently 16 years old and attending a film class at Marin School of the Arts. He is very excited to be taking on the role of production designer for Ethan Paisley's newest film production, The Art of Escape. Experienced in the film industry as an editor and art director, Tanaka has interned at several major studios around the bay area.  Some studios include Be Media, NCTV, Illumina Studios, Athena Studios, and the Visual Effects Society. 

Key Grip, Boom Operator

Connor Fillipi is a sophomore at Petaluma High School, and expresses great interest in entering the film industry. After doing background work on indepedent film, Unspoken, Fillipi progressed on to The Art of Escape where he acted as the key grip and boom operator. The work-heavy experience presented him with a hands on look into the business, which is one he feels interested in becoming a part of in upcoming years.  

 

Aside from playing Officer Jane in The Art of Escape, Maya Babow also served as the production's costume designer. Though experienced and motivated in the world of fashion, Babow wishes to continue her other career in theater management. She currently works as a production assistant at Cinnabar Theatre in Petaluma, CA and attends the SRJC in Santa Rosa, CA.

Hair & Makeup Artist

Amelia Vaske is extremely happy to be working with Ethan Paisley again on his latest feature, The Art of Escape, as a hair and makeup artist. Vaske has done makeup for Ethan Paisley's previous feature film, Victoria's Vengeance. Besides showing skill in hair and makeup techniques, Amelia Vaske is a highly experienced and talented visual artist. She currently studies art at and attends Petaluma High School. 

 

Hair, Makeup & Gore Artist

Jayde Eads is making her film debut as a hair, makeup, and gore artist on Ethan Paisley's latest project, The Art of Escape. Though accomplished in areas surrounding facial makeup, Eads specializes in making astounding gore makeup prosthetics for photoshoots. With a background in makeup on camera, Jayde Eads hopes to move forward with her career in makeup for films and television.
